Actblue - Monthly overcharge

I checked my AmEx card monthly statements. I noticed that for months they were deducting $15,$20, and $40 each month. They are a political action committee. I never gave them carte blanch to deduct any amount of money on a monthly basis. $75 per month. When I contacted Am Ex they set up an inquiry. They told Am Ex that they were unable to refund more than a few months because the money goes out of what they receive immediately. I was outraged at the bull——. I sent Am Ex a very detailed account of what they did and Am Ex is still investigating. The lesson to be had is Never Give even a dime to Act Blue!
