Error in donation
My donation occurred that was unintentional and it was selected when I was simply scrolling down and then there was no way I saw to cancel or reverse it!!
Please refund asap!
User's recommendation: Be careful if you are on a fixed income donating on a phone screen …it can accidentally be clicked through your action of scrolling and there is no candor back button

Wish to donate, account problems
Have tried over and over again to get help for editing my account so that I can donate. Every time I try, it just dead end somewhere.
Ive been doing it for two days and Ive had no success.
Im in my 80s and technology is difficult. I wish I could just talk to a human and get it taken care of.good luck.

ACTBLUE took money out of peoples credit card accounts without permission . I experienced this more than once. BEWARE of this scam dot com. They take OVER 3% commission without transparency.
Do not use ACTBLUE. They are not transparent about the 3% plus commission and unauthorized deductions from your account once they have your credit card number. Contact your local Attorney General.

They refuse to tell me if they are continuing to provide my contact information to candidates.
I gave around $300 to various democratic candidates through ActBlue during the last election cycle. Since then, I have been receiving AT LEAST five fundraising texts A DAY from Democratic candidates since the election ended.
I reply STOP for every message, and it does nothing because ActBlue SELLS your contact information to political campaigns. So my phone number is ALREADY out there and LITERALLY the only way to get the texts to stop will be to get a new phone number.
For all I know, they're STILL selling my information.
I have contacted ActBlue directly, and their response was basically what I've already said. They aren't responsible for the texts, they're just the ones who sold my number.

Yes. Contacted Act Blue and Citibank.
No resolution yet to my knowledge. Please notify PayPal and Citibank to.dismiss this charge on my accounts.
Was told it would have to post. I told my bank and Citibank not to pay. Now, since Oct 9, PayPal is holding the money and only Asian agents talk to me with no resolution. Citibank tells me they are going to have to withdraw the money in two days.
I will then miss my mortgage payment, heat and grocery budgets. Can you do anything from your end? Delete my name and email from donor requests: send smail requests.
I will never donate through PayPal again. Tell Bernie I said hello.

PayPal is run by a crook named Peter Thiel..Elon Musks buddy. Used them ONCE 15 years ago and it was a scam.

I have notified Act Blue Express to stop all automatic donations. They still continue taking them out of my account!
I have notified Act Blue through the website. They said they would stop donations, monthly ones I did not sign for.
They're still taking them out of my account! Cancel my Act Blue account completely.

The problem IS! ACTBLUE.
Do NOT give directly to them. Give directly to the cause/candidate.
ACTBLUE charges a fee of 3.75% and is NOT transparent about it until you dig. They like to look "blue", but they are not.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Rep responded to my problem ticket with an apology, full refund and possible explanation of the cause.
I made a $50 donation through PayPal on February 1. I then received receipts from ActBlue for two additional $50 donations on February 4 and February 5 that I did not make.
I was unable to contact anyone through the ActBlue customer service phone number, so I submitted a complaint and request for reimbursement online. I have had no response.

ActBlue is not easily available to discuss issues I have with the distribution of funds. They do not make it easy to obtain this information.

This is the second time Ive had to contact Act Blue to remove my name and phone number from your solicitation/donor list.
When I make a donation every democrats in the country starts sending me emails and texts.
No wonder people complain about democrat fund raising, stop sharing our contact with every candidate out there. Why not limit it to at least those in our state or federal candidates, maybe then people wouldnt hate yall so much.
