Incomplete/vague explanation

ACT Blue rejected numerous donations I made around the same time in November. The explanation seemed like a formulaic response--ie, they chose the most appropriate box available. To their credit, they did refund my donations, but again, the explanation doesn't make sense.
My understanding is that they thought my donation came from and IP address outside of the USA, but it is in Tennessee, so I asked for a further explanation and have not received one.

Initially, I thought my donations had been changed from "One Time" to "Monthly" because a dozen or more had been charged again. After a reply from Act Blue, these were apparently refunds (I checked and they were--I mis-read them as charges).

But the rejected donations/refunds were supposedly because they came from an IP address out of the country and I live in Tn with a local IP address.

So, while I am glad these were refunds an not charges, I don't understand the IP address problem. I am waiting for an explanation, but I would rather AB be cautious, rather than sloppy.

Maybe have actual people to talk to instead of all automated system. It took multiple times to converse with a chatbot, which responded with a script for every answer I gave, to get monthly donation canceled.

Too much money taken out.

Money taken out on 2/25/25. Act Blue told immediately that too much money taken out. THEY NEVER BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME!!!
On 3/3/25 left message with act blue.
Told them that I was an FDR Democrat, but now I'm an INDEPENDANT!!!

You have to leave a message because they don't take live calls. I have left several messages by email and one on their voicemail through you. As usual, no response. They are the worst and I will never donate through them again. I need my $70 back!
