I cannot cancel the payments online because it doesn't recognize the last 4 digits of my back account, which is a required field. It is able to remove the money from the same CC account though.
I have let email messages and phone messages. I received an email that the payments would stop and I would be reimbursed, but instead the withdrawals continue everyday. I did find an email from Act Blue that at first did not open up, but finally I could select Stop donations, but I have no idea this worked.
I will need to cancel my CC card. I plan to send all this information to the MA Attorney General's office and hope one of the local TV station will take up the fight in their consumer protection segments.
