You must realize the site is a scam and you should have suspected it was from the very nature of it's pitch to ill-informed people who want, for some unknown reason to give money to strange causes. Good luck, sport.

If you gave this scam organization your credit card, then no money was withdrawn. You can dispute the fraudulent charges.
Be aware, however that buried somewhere in the terms and conditions is a disclaimer stating the donation you gave will be recurring until you tell them not do continue. This is a trick, of course but something you should expect to happen when visiting a site like that.
